Challenge
To draw influence from historical typeface design in order to create a unique digital typeface consisting of a full upper and lowercase alphabet, numbers and glyphs.
Solution
An Art Deco inspired typeface influenced by the work of A.M. Cassandre. AUREUM experiments with negative space to give the illusion of dramatic thick and thin strokes, much like the typefaces characteristic of this era. AUREUM aims to bring its users back to the golden days of typography and design.
